Digital Storytelling:

Tell a story about your past, about your neighborhood or about a memory– using photographs and your own voice. This three-session workshop will guide you through the process of writing, recording audio, digitizing photographs and editing together still images and sound. When you are finished, you will have produced a 2-3 minute video clip.
(Prior to the class, please think about what story you might like to tell and start collecting photographs.)

Promotional Video Production

So you want to promote your nonprofit, organization, group or self with a video and you don’t have a huge budget to do so? No worries! We’re going to show you how to tell a 1-minute story about an existing community organization here in Columbus. You’ll work in a team with some already existing footage, tell a story, learn how to light and record someone reading your script, and do some basic editing with titles.

Come out and have a drink with us– and hear short tech tips about the latest and greatest Adobe Tools. Columbus Digital is THE Central Ohio Adobe User Group, and a fantastic night out. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at Brother’s Drake Meadery

Arnold Sports Film Festival Workshops:
The Arnold Sports Festival is known for being one of the biggest multidisciplinary sports events in the country, but did you know they have a film festival too? During the festival, we’re going to be hosting an entire day of workshops focused on all elements of production, effects, acting, voice over and even a bit of shot and sequence analysis/cinematography.
